EXPLANATORY NOTE

On November 6, 2023, LumiraDx Limited (the "Company") announced that its Board of Directors (the "Board") had appointed Lurene Joseph and George Neble, each of whom is a current independent member of the Board, to serve as co-chairpersons of the Board.

Ms. Joseph is the chair of the Compensation Committee of the Board and a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Neble is the chair of the Audit Committee of the Board.

The Company also announced the appointment of Veronique Ameye, the Company's Deputy Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel, to serve as the Company's Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel, effective as of November 1, 2023.
