Lungteh Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,240.94 million compared to TWD 922.83 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 97.63 million compared to TWD 35.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.91 compared to TWD 0.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.91 compared to TWD 0.37 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 3,739.37 million compared to TWD 2,705.3 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 335.25 million compared to TWD 161.68 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.18 compared to TWD 1.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.18 compared to TWD 1.65 a year ago.
Lungteh Shipbuilding Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in shipbuilding. The Company operates through the Taipei segment and the Other segment two business segments. The Company's main business is to produce medium and high-speed boats. The main uses include offshore patrol boats, near-shore patrol boats, personnel operation and maintenance boats, high-speed passenger ships, research and survey ships, firefighting and rescue ships, port operations ships, and unmanned boats. It is also engaged in the provision of maintenance services for ships. Products are mainly sold to Taiwan, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa and other regions.
