Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd. announced that additional 1,20,000 Sq Mt land has been allotted by MIDC adjacent to the one allotted earlier at Nardana industrial Area Phase -II District Dhule, Maharashtra taking total land to 5,87,350 Sq Mt for setting up phosphoric and Sulphuric Acid plants. Construction work will begin from April, 2024 after statutory approvals for Phosphoric Acid and Sulphuric Acid and other chemical plants. Additional 1,37,052 Sq Mt land has been allocated by AKVAN, MP near Banda Plant on which Bhumi Poojan has been announced for expansion of Phosphoric Acid plant and setting up DCP (Di Calcium Phosphate) plant.

The company also plans to set up a solar power plant as part of the renewable energy mission of Govt. of India. Both above developments are with an aim to make MBAPL a major chemical driven company in future with higher share of non-subsidised revenue.

Both the projects will entail a total capex of over INR 500 million in the next 3 years.
