Mashreq, a leading financial institution in the UAE, has been awarded with the "Pan-Middle East - Best Regional Investment Bank", "Best Loan House in the UAE" and "Best Local Bank in the UAE" awards by the EMEA Finance Awards 2014. These prestigious awards are a testament to the Bank's active presence and extensive book-running ability with respect to originating, lead-arranging and executing transactions in Loan Syndications, Debt Capital Markets and Real Estate Finance & Advisory across the local, regional and international markets.

The awards confirm Mashreq's Corporate Finance Division's position as a leading UAE bank. In the last few years, Mashreq has continued to significantly grow its presence in the syndicated loan markets outside its home market, closing a sizeable number of multibank transactions in Africa and Asia. Particularly, the Bank has created a solid track record by playing an instrumental role in successfully arranging and deploying Middle Eastern liquidity pools to the Sub-Saharan region.

Furthermore, Mashreq has also bagged the "Best Loan House in the UAE" for the second year running having earlier won the "Best Debt House" in 2012. As one of the few banks in the region with a dedicated Real Estate Division, Mashreq has continued over the last few years to deliver value through its solid relationships and technical expertise.
