Medifast, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 413.4 million compared to USD 271.47 million a year ago. Net income was USD 41.98 million compared to USD 34.45 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.59 compared to USD 2.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.56 compared to USD 2.91 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 1,148.25 million compared to USD 669.93 million a year ago. Net income was USD 130.01 million compared to USD 74.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 11.07 compared to USD 6.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 10.98 compared to USD 6.32 a year ago.
