Meta Financial Group, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 62.137 million compared to USD 66.968 million a year ago. Net income was USD 18.190 million compared to USD 29.291 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.53 compared to USD 0.75 a year ago. For the nine months, net interest income was USD 194.525 million compared to USD 198.590 million a year ago. Net income was USD 91.562 million compared to USD 76.809 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 2.54 compared to USD 1.96 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 2.54 compared to USD 1.95 a year ago.
