Michael Saylor, executive chairman of MicroStrategy, reveals that his team works daily to remove about eighty artificial intelligence (AI)-generated fake videos, most of which promote Bitcoin or other crypto currencies.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Saylor warned his 3.2 million followers about the large number of deep fake videos on YouTube and said "the scammers are launching more and more of them.

One these days, several users on X reported fake AI-generated videos, with Saylor reportedly promising to double people's money. The videos ask viewers to scan a QR code and send Bitcoin to the scammer's address.

A similar situation occurred in 2022 with a whole series of fake videos of Elon Musk.

That Saylor is now the fall guy is because Microstrategy is investing heavily in Bitcoin and doing well with it. MicroStrategy bought 21,454 BTC in August 2020, when the crypto currency was just above $10,000. With more purchases since then, Microstrategy is the largest holder of digital assets in the enterprise market, totaling 189,150 BTC, now worth about $8.55 billion.
