Mighty Craft Limited announced the appointment of Kate McNamara to its Board of Directors ­ as Non-Executive Director ­ effective 17
April. This appointment marks continuing progress as part of the Company's ongoing Board renewal process. As a senior executive and management consultant, Katie brings experience across a broad range of functional areas applicable to working with the Board, C-suite and the investor community, with a focus on consumer and retail. Katie has over 25 years' Strategy and Marketing experience in senior executive and consultancy roles across Australia, Europe, United States and Asia. More recently, Katie's experience includes senior positions at Super Retail Group, where she was
Chief Strategy & Customer Officer; IBM, leading the Digital iX business across Asia; and Deloitte, leading the Australian Strategy practice. Katie has deep experience defining and implementation of corporate strategy across key verticals in FMCG and Retail, including M&A, Digital, Customer, Growth and Innovation. Prior to this, Katie was the Director of Strategy and M&A at Foster's (2008-2012), responsible for developing the Beer and Wine strategies globally, also leading the demerger of Treasury Wine Estates in 2011. Katie's previous experience includes McKinsey & Company and ownership of a number of Community Pharmacies. Katie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne University, as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) from the University of Tasmania. She's also studied Marketing and Digital strategy at Harvard Business school, as well as Digital Marketing at INSEAD. Katie has had experience serving on a variety of boards across Australia. She is currently Non- Executive Director of Motorcycle Holdings Limited (ASX:MTO) and a board member of Opera Queensland.
