Mitachi Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended November 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of ¥19,368 million against ¥22,004 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥691 million against ¥915 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was ¥752 million against ¥955 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥530 million or ¥67.19 basic per share against ¥638 million or ¥86.82 basic per share a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was ¥66.98.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending May 2019. For the year, the company expects net sales of ¥38,000 million, operating profit of ¥1,200 million, ordinary profit of ¥1,290 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥900 million or ¥113.83 per basic share.
