Mitre Mining Corporation Limited is an Australia-based mining exploration company. The Company is engaged in exploration and development of properties in the gold and rare earth minerals industry. Its projects include Araluen Project, Bateman project, East Pilbara Project and Mt Alexander Project. Its project is located in the mineral province of the eastern Lachlan Fold Belt near Batemans Bay on the New South Wales (NSW) southern coast. The area contains numerous historical mines, such as Dargues Gold Mine, Moruya Gold Mine and Bimbimbie group of mines. The Araluen Project area covers over 230 square kilometers (km2) and abuts and covers the southern extents of the Braidwood Granodiorite, host of the Dargues Gold mine. The Bateman project area contains over 138 km2 of tenure and represents the northern extension to the highly prospective Moruya Goldfields. The Mt Alexander Project (E29/1167) is located on the western margin of the prospective Mt Alexander greenstone belt (GSB).
