MTS has won a tender to provide mobile communication services to the St Peterburg municipal council. The operator has reduced its charges drastically, offering to provide the services for RUB 0.01 in the first quarter of 2015. The initial value of the contract totaled RUB 12.7 million.
Megafon's bid amounted to RUB 299,000 and the bid from Beeline totaled RUB 6.7 million. The services will be provided for almost 5,000 staff members of the municipality.
