The last year and a half has been extremely humbling in many ways. Our industry has been rocked with unpredictability, forcing organizations to completely shift the way they operate. Initially, the shift from in-person to virtual events was likely an afterthought for most - accepted and put on the backburner. But now more than a year and a half into the COVID-19 pandemic, I believe most would agree that those face-to-face connections held a higher level of importance than we may have thought… and thankfully, in-person events are slowly, and safely resurfacing.

Last month, I was pleased to join my colleague Les Jordan at HIMSS21, where we hosted a live episode of Healthcare APPtitude. In this episode, we were joined by special guest Christel Anderson, VP of Informatics of HIMSS, for a discussion on the importance of mobile app technology in healthcare, and the role that nurses play in the innovation of this technology. You don't want to miss this episode - be sure to tune in today!

As always, you can catch the latest radio show episode of Healthcare APPtitude, airing weekdays at 7:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET on HealthcareNOW Radio.
