MATERIAL FACT
MOVIDA PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. ("Movida" or "Company"), a publicly held company, in compliance with Instruction 358/2002 of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission and article 157, paragraph 4, of Law 6,404/1976, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on March 5 2021, the Company requested its intervention as an interested third party in the Concentration Act related to the business combination between Localiza Rent a Car S.A. ("Localiza") and Companhia de Locação das Américas ("Unidas"), requesting the Brazilian Antitrust Authority (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica - CADE) to reject the transaction, due to competition concerns arising therefrom.
Movida will keep its shareholders and the market in general informed of any developments related to this matter.
