Mysore Petro Chemicals Limited is engaged in the trading of organic and inorganic chemicals. The Company is involved in the trading of ortho xylene, phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, benzoic acid, and other petrochemical products. The Company’s Maleic Anhydride (MA) is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of fumaric and tartaric acid, certain agricultural chemicals, resins in numerous products, dye intermediates, and pharmaceuticals. MA is in the production of unsaturated polyester resins. These resins are used primarily in fiber-reinforced plastics, materials with a wide and growing range of applications in boating, automobile, and construction industries. It is also in the production of unsaturated polyester resins. These resins are used primarily in fiber-reinforced plastics; materials with and a range of applications in boating, automobile and construction industries. MA is used in the manufacture of alkyd resins.
