National Petroleum Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 5,758.98 million compared to TWD 4,738.97 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 143.52 million compared to TWD 149 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.46 compared to TWD 0.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.46 compared to TWD 0.48 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 11,739.1 million compared to TWD 9,779.27 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 334.55 million compared to TWD 387.35 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to TWD 1.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to TWD 1.25 a year ago.
National Petroleum Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the distribution of petroleum through operating gas stations. The Company's major products include super diesel, 92 unleaded petrol, 95 unleaded petrol and 98 unleaded petrol, as well as engine oil. The Company also provides automobile window cleaning services, car washing services and wash polishing services, among others. The Company operates its business mainly in domestic market.
