Neuron Bio, SA (BME:NEU) made an offer to acquire remaining 30.22% stake in NEOL Biosolutions, S.A. (BME:NEOL) for €3.4 million in stock on November 14, 2016. Under the terms of the offer, Neuron Bio agreed to pay 5 shares of Neuron for every 4 shares of NEOL. As a result of the transaction, NEOL Biosolutions, S.A. will be 100% owned by Neuron Bio, SA and will be delisted from the BSE exchange. The transaction is pending NEOL shareholders approval. As of January 16, 2017, the Board of Directors of Neol Biosolutions approved the deal.

Neol Biosolutions SA is a Spain-based company engaged in the environmental biotechnology. The Company focuses on the development of biotechnological processes, which reduce the use of chemical contaminants, as well as the amount of agricultural and industrial waste. The Company owns a technological platform, named MicroBioTools by Neol, which includes a collection of microorganisms for various industrial processes.
