The board of directors of Neway Group Holdings Limited announced that approximate 400 out of 2,100 of the workers of one of the group's printing factories in Long Gang District, Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China are on strike and as a result, most part of the production of this factory has been temporary affected. Some of these workers had also blocked the entrance of the other printing factory of the group in the same district and now had left. Some workers that wanted to resume work were blocked by the workers that went on strike.

The incident started on January 10, 2013. The management of the group believes that the incident was originated from the recent restructuring of the factory. The management of the group is actively resolving this incident, including having meetings with the labour union, local administrative bureau, labour bureau, lawyers and polices with a aim to settle the incident as soon as possible and reduce the loss to the group.

As at January 13, 2013, the strike has not yet ended. The management is still assessing the impact on the operation of the group as a result of the strike.
