Nexgram Holdings Berhad appointed Dato' Dr Lim Weng Khuan as Independent and Non Executive Director, effective 07 February 2024. Age 65. Qualifications: Degree: Bachelor of Laws, University of London.

Professional Qualification: Certificate in Legal Practice, Masters: Master of Business Administration (General Business Administration) University of Hull; Doctorate: Doctor of Business Administration. Working experience and occupation: Dato' Dr. Lim was an ex-Investigating Officer attached to the Commercial Crimes Division of the Royal Malaysia Police. He has more than 32 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations serving in companies that include Maybank, Lion Group, Hong Leong Group, F&N Group, HSBC Bank and Tan Chong Group.

He is currently a member of the Industrial Court Panel representing employers (7 terms), a Council member of MEF (3 terms) and serving as a member of the National Labour Advisory Council (NLAC) for 6 years. His last position was as Regional Director of PR, Security & Strategic HR of TCIE Vietnam based in Da Nang, Vietnam, overseeing Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. He is an active trainer on employment laws of Malaysia and various topics in HR Strategy and Human Resource Management and had trained more than 3,000 employees from 1,500 over companies in Malaysia in the last 2 decades.

He was appointed as an Adjunct Professor for Law & Investigation of Saito University College on 1 August 2018 till 31 July 2020. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 22 October 2021. He was conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) on 24 October 2014 and the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN) on 25 August 2022.

He presented a Paper on "ESG and SDG Malaysia's Commitment and Policies/Practices by Private Sector Companies in Malaysia" in May 2023. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Asia Brands Berhad (ABB) and a Director of People Quest Sdn Bhd. He is the author of "A Practical Guide to Negotiating Collective Agreements with Trade Unions in Malaysia", Revised Second Edition, published in January 2023.
