NEXTDC Limited announced changes to its structure and membership in line with its succession and strategic planning for the Company's next phase of growth. Under these arrangements, NEXTDC's inaugural Chairman Roger Clarke will step down from the role of Chairman at the end of August 2013, and will remain as a non-executive director. Existing non-executive director Ted Pretty will replace Mr. Clarke as non-executive Chairman at that time.

Mr. Pretty will assume the Chairmanship for NEXTDC's next phase of growth, which will include the accelerated expansion of its data centre footprint in Australia and Asia. As part of the succession planning process, NEXTDC founder and non-executive director Bevan Slattery is also providing advance notice that he intends to retire from the board of NEXTDC with effect from the Company's 2013 Annual General Meeting.
