NexTone Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the copyright management business and casting business. The Company operates through two business segments. The Copyright Management business is engaged in receiving consignment form copyright holders to license the use of musical works and collect and distribute royalties. In music copyrights, there are mainly performance rights, recording rights, publishing rights, lending rights, broadcasting and cable broadcasting, interactive distribution, and commercial karaoke for business use. The Casting business is engaged in the provision of casting consulting, non-movie digital content (ODS) support, and event coordination. The Company is also engaged in the development and provision of rights processing systems such as copyrights and master rights, and content distribution system, and the development and operation of various in-house systems.
