Nihon Housing Co.,Ltd. (TSE:4781) signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 70% stake in Surf Co., Ltd. from Fumihito Furukawa on May 21, 2014. Under the terms of the agreement, 280 shares will be acquired. Post closing, Surf Co., Ltd. will be a subsidiary of Nihon Housing Co.,Ltd. For the financial year ended August 2013, Surf Co had sales of ¥716 million, net assets of ¥22 million and total assets of ¥250 million. On May 21, 2014, Board of Directors of Nihon Housing passed the resolution to acquire all shares of Surf Co., Ltd.
