Niitaka Co., Ltd. (TSE:4465) entered into contract to acquire Suisho Petrochemical Industry Co., Ltd. from an individual on July 24, 2017. Niitaka Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.16 million shares and operate Suisho Petrochemical Industry Co., Ltd as wholly owned subsidiary. During the year ended February 2017, Suisho Petrochemical Industry Co., Ltd. had net assets of ¥558 million, total assets of ¥867 million, and sales of ¥1.33 billion. Board of Directors of Niitaka Co., Ltd. made a resolution in favor of the transaction on July 24, 2017. The share transfer date is July 31, 2017.

The Company is engaged in the provision of dishwashing detergents, dish washing equipment detergents, disinfectants, bleaches, food additives, detergents, detergents for food factories, hand-wash soaps and hand sanitizers, as well as solid fuels for cooking and outdoor heating. The Company is also engaged in the provision of maintenance services for dishwashers, and hygiene management support services, as well as the purchase of kitchen and bath supplies such as food packaging wraps, paper towels, body soaps, rinse-in shampoos and others.
