A series of projects throughout Bougainville have been targeted for funding as the ABG identifies its 2022 development priorities.
The ABG is set to receive K100 million from the national government as part of the Restoration and Development Grant program.

Key project priorities in Central region (K4.05 million), include redevelopment of industrial hubs at Kieta and Toniva, Arawa Secondary computer lab, Arawa solid waste management, Wakunai health facility construction and upgrade, Wakunai district cocoa rehabilitation, Amiaming peanut and pineapple downstream processing, Jaba delta environmental diversion livelihood program, Asikopan reforestation, Tokaiang hatchery and breeding farm and Piruana social development project.
Key development projects in the Southern region (K4.45 million), include Buin district hatchery, abattoir and packaging pilot project, Buin district governance and administration capacity building, Siwai inland fish farming, Tonu Secondary dormitory an mess extension, Torokina district integrated community development program, Torokina district community government office and staff houses and Buin district community government office complex.
