YOKOHAMA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the following senior leadership changes.

Christian Vandenhende, executive officer, chief quality officer (CQO) and vice-chief performance officer (Vice-CPO), elected to retire effective August 1, 2021. Vandenhende is in charge of Global After Sales, Quality and Total Customer Satisfaction functions and chief vehicle assessment specialist as well as has an oversight of INFINITI business, the Americas and AMIEO regions.

'I would like to thank Christian for his service and outstanding contributions to Nissan and the Alliance. He has played a significant role in driving Nissan NEXT transformation plan and positioning us for long-term success. I wish him all the best in retirement,' said Makoto Uchida, Chief Executive Officer.
