Nisshinbo Holdings Inc. (TSE:3105) and Nisshinbo Singapore Pte. Ltd. agreed to acquire HVJ Holdings Co., Ltd. from Japan Industrial Investment Fund IV, managed by Japan Industrial Partners, Inc., Shepherds Hill Fund II, L.P., Manaslu Fund II, L.P. and Sonora Fund II, L.P. managed by Shepherds Hill Capital Partners for ¥19.2 billion on May 31, 2023. The transaction is expected to close by July 31, 2023. As of July 28, 2023, The transaction is expected to close Promptly upon receipt of a notice from the Japan Fair Trade Commission that a cease and desist order will not be issued, and upon completion of preparations.
