Nobility Homes Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended August 3, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was USD 11.785 million compared to USD 11.447 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 2.293 million compared to USD 1.462 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2.543 million compared to USD 1.248 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.67 compared to USD 0.32 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was USD 35.567 million compared to USD 30.015 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 6.200 million compared to USD 3.744 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5.898 million compared to USD 3.399 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.53 compared to USD 0.87 a year ago.
Nobility Homes, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells a range of manufactured and modular homes through its own retail sales centers throughout Florida. It also sells its manufactured homes on a wholesale basis to independent manufactured home retail dealers and manufactured home communities. Its homes are available in approximately 100 active models sold under the trade names Kingswood, Richwood, Tropic Isle, Regency Manor, and Tropic Manor. It offers homes ranging in size from 464 to 2,800 square feet and containing from one to five bedrooms, are available in: single-wide widths of 14 and 16 feet ranging from 35 to 72 feet in length; double-wide widths of 20, 24, 26, 28 and 32 feet ranging from 32 to 72 feet in length; triple-wide widths of 42 feet ranging from 60 to 72 feet in length; and quad unit with two sections 28 feet wide from 40 to 48 feet long and two sections 28 feet wide by 52 feet long. Its homes are sold primarily as unfurnished dwellings ready for permanent occupancy.
