Daiko Clearing Services Corporation (TSE:8692) agreed to acquire 40% stake in Nippon Clearing Services Co. Ltd. from Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (TSE:4307) on March 14, 2014. In a related deal, Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (TSE:4307) signed a capital and business alliance agreement to acquire an additional 9.82% stake in Daiko Clearing Services Corporation (TSE:8692) from Nomura Holdings, Inc. (TSE:8604) for ¥1.9 billion on March 14, 2014.
