NTT DOCOMO, Inc. announced that its board of directors met and proposed changes in executive positions for official approval at the shareholders meeting, the board of directors meeting, and the audit & supervisory board meeting scheduled on June 20, 2017. Senior executive vice president member of the board of directors Akira Terasaki is resigning and is expected to join Asurion Japan Holdings. Seizo Onoe is also resigning from the BoD, while Tooru Kobayashi and Naoto Shiotsuka are resigning from the Audit & Supervisory Board and are expected to become Advisers. SVPs Hiroshi Nakamura and Hozumi Tamura were proposed to be new members of the board of directors. Shoji Suto and Hironobu Sagae were proposed as new Audit & Supervisory Board members. Hirotaka Sato, Kiyohiro Omatsuzawa, Hiroshi Tsujigami, Kouji Furukawa, and Kyoji Murakami will be proposed for reelection as EVP members of BoD. SVPs Hiroshi Nakamura and Hozumi Tamura will be proposed for election as EVP members of BoD.
