The World's Best Banks Ranking

Forbes formulated its World's Best Banks 2024 ranking by partnering with leading market research firm Statista, which conducted a survey involving over 49,000 individuals across 33 countries and in 17 different languages. Participants were asked to evaluate banks with which they hold current or past accounts, or those they are familiar with through personal connections. Any bank offering checking or savings accounts was eligible, excluding United States credit unions.

The survey respondents assessed banks based on criteria such as overall satisfaction, recommendations to others, trustworthiness, terms and conditions, customer service, digital services, and quality of financial advice. These ratings were carefully analyzed, taking into account last year's results and personal experiences with each bank. The banks that received the highest scores were included in the final list.
