Hokuko Chemical Industry Co., Ltd signed a basic agreement to acquire Benzofenapa and Bensfuresate Active Ingredients and Containing Agents Business from OAT Agrio Co., Ltd. (TSE:4979) on August 13, 2021. The consideration shall be paid in cash. The transfer agreement is planned to be signed by the end of September 2021. The transaction does not require a resolution at the shareholders meeting. The transaction is expected to close in end of September 2021.
