On November 14, 2019, Delaware court judge announced that Carl Icahn will not have access to Occidental Petroleum Corporation’s Anadarko Petroleum Corporation takeover records to support his proxy fight against the Company’s board. In addition, Delaware court’s Vice Chancellor, Joseph Slights, wrote that Carl Icahn’s complaint against the Company ‘appear to be nothing more than disagreements’ with the Company’s directors and failed to show how the documents would advance his proxy contest.
