ASX Announcement 11 January 2012 Appointment of Managing Director *Allan Fidock joins OGL Resources as Managing Director *Extensive executive and senior management experience within the Australian coal industry

The Directors of OGL Resources Limited ("OGL" or "the Company") are pleased to announce the appointment of experienced coal industry executive Mr Allan Fidock as Managing Director, commencing in the role on the 23rd January 2012.
Mr Fidock has more than 30 years' experience in open cut and underground coal mining with a range of owner-operator and contractor companies. Most recently, he was part of the Macarthur Coal's Executive Leadership Group responsible for Mine operation at Coppabella, Moorvale and Codrilla.
OGL Resources' Chairman Jack Tan said: "I am delighted to have Allan join us at OGL. His extensive background in the Australian coal industry will give the Company access to a wealth of experience at a crucial time in its development. His role will be pivotal as OGL finalises the acquisition of two high value coal assets, and then moves to bring these into development".
Mr Tan said that during his 30 year coal career, Mr Fidock has had extensive first-hand experience in mine management, mine and project cost estimation and control, mine planning and optimization, client liaison and negotiations.
During his time with Macarthur Coal, Mr Fidock was responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Macarthur Coal's operating mines, Coppabella and Moorvale, the operational preparation of the newly 4th mine at Codrilla and the development of the Middlemount Mine.
"In OGL's case, we will be looking to Allan to bring the Ebenezer Mine into production and for the
development of the Bremer View Mining Development Licence Project," Mr Tan said.
"Allan's experience will complement the existing OGL Resources Board and I welcome Allan to the Company and look forward to a productive working relationship to advance OGL Resources to the next phase of the Company's development," he said.

Most recently Allan served as a Member of the Macarthur Coal's Executive Leadership Group, where his responsibilities include safe, efficient operation of the Macarthur Coal's operating mines, and has responsibility for company-wide Technical Service and equipment maintenance requirements, business improvement opportunities across operations and to deliver sustainable costs improvement objects.
Between July 2009 to October 2010, Allan was appointed (secondment from Macarthur Coal) as CEO of Middlemount Coal Pty Ltd, he was responsible for the development of the Middlemount Mine, including negotiations for land acquisition, mining lease application submission, environmental approval-EIS, direct community liaison on project issues and liaison with local and state government departments on advance of approval processes.
Previously before joining Macarthur Coal, Allan was the Technical Services Manager at the Drayton Mine working for Anglo Coal, his responsibilities include providing strategic, technological and long term mine development advice for the general manager.
Other previous roles included Thiess Pty Ltd - Project Development Manager under NSW Mining, Mining Manager at the Mt Owen Complex and Senior Project Engineer within the Mine Engineering Group. Other mine management and Engineering positions included Project Manager/Mine Manager at Liddell Open Cut Mine, Mine Manager at Brickworks Open Cut - Gunnedah Colliery and Senior Mining Engineer at New Hope Corporations' Swanbank Open Cut Mine.
