Olympic Steel, Inc. Appoints Matthew Grussing as Director of Sales - Fabrication

Olympic Steel, Inc. announced recent leadership changes related to the company's fabrication growth strategy. Matthew Grussing has been named Director of Sales - Fabrication. Mr. Grussing will report directly to Mr. Fitzgerald in this newly created role and focus on developing and implementing strategies to grow the Company's fabrication business. Mr. Grussing joined Olympic Steel in 2010 as an Inside Sales Representative. In his more than 13 years with the Company, he has held commercial roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as General Manager for the Company's Minneapolis Plate facility. Mr. Grussing earned his associate degree in mechanical drafting and design from Ridgewater College. He earned
his bachelor's degree in business administration from Bemidji State University. Mr. Grussing is also a graduate of the Metals Service Center Institute's (MSCI) Strategic Metals Management Program (SMMP) at Washington University in St. Louis.
Olympic Steel, Inc. is a metals service center company. The Company provides metals processing and distribution services to a range of customers. It operates through three segments: specialty metals flat products, carbon flat products, and tubular and pipe products. Specialty metals flat products segment is engaged in the direct sale and distribution of processed aluminum and stainless flat-rolled sheet and coil products, flat bar products, prime tin mill products and fabricated parts. Carbon flat products segment is engaged in the direct sale and distribution of large volumes of processed carbon and coated flat-rolled sheet, coil and plate products and fabricated parts. Tubular and pipe products segment distributes metal tubing, pipe, bar, valves and fittings and fabrication of parts supplied to various industrial markets. This segment also offers a range of value-added fabrication services, including tube laser cutting, tube bending, robotic welding, flat laser burning and others.
