Game Developer -Ghostrunner Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary In Style Community Content, Competitions, & Sequel Surprises In Store

Leading video game publisher 505 Games proudly marks the two year anniversary of cyberpunk-action thriller Ghostrunner.

To celebrate, 505, alongside developers and partners One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks are hosting a celebratory stream event on Nov 3rd, at 10 am PST featuring developer commentary, details on the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition occurring on November 13, 2022, plus one or TWO surprises. The critically-acclaimed first-person action game has sold more than 1.5M units since launching two years ago and continues to provide an adrenaline-fueled experience to players around the world on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna. During the stream, One More Level CEO Szymon Bryla and VP/Game Director Radoslaw Ratusznik will talk about the success of the first game, plus share a teaser about the hotly anticipated sequel. The event will also highlight community fan art, cosplay, and gameplay clips from talented speedrunners.

Speedrunners will also learn more about the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition. Since March of this year, top players have qualified for the LGC by showing off their skills in Wave Mode and on November 13th from 9AM - 3PM PDT, the ultimate winner will be declared. The winner will have their likeness featured in Ghostrunner 2 as well as walking away with a custom replica Ghostrunner katana.
