Oppstar Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is involved in the front-end of the semiconductor value chain. It is a pure-play integrated circuit (IC) design house, which provides IC design services covering front-end design, back-end design and complete turnkey solutions. It also provides other related services, such as post-silicon validation services, training and consultancy services. Its segments include IC Design, which includes Specific design services, Turnkey design services, and Others. It mainly focuses on ICs, such as CPUs, SoCs, ASICs and FPGAs. The IC design services that the Company provides are generally process node technology ranging from 20nm to 3nm. Its customers comprise integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), fabless companies and fab-lite companies, electronic system providers and other IC design houses. Its subsidiaries include Oppstar Technology Sdn. Bhd., Oppstar Microelectronics Sdn. Bhd. and others.
