If there's one thing we've learned from 2020, it's to expect the unexpected and be prepared to pivot on a dime. Regardless of industry, enterprise performance management (EPM) applications have enabled organizations to adapt, maintain business continuity, and balance short-term needs with long-term priorities.

Developing these mission-critical EPM applications doesn't happen in isolation. We work in close partnership with our customers to ensure Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) has the functional capabilities and insights needed for success in any market condition.

In December 2020, the IDC MarketScape named Oracle a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Cloud Enterprise Performance Management Software for Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting 2020 Vendor Assessment (doc #US46953520, November 2020) based on the alignment of our capabilities and strategies to the needs of our customers.

Among the highlights, the IDC MarketScape recognized our customer growth, our rapid innovation cycle (monthly updates), advanced analytics, enterprise data management, and global performance as differentiators. Importantly, the IDC MarketScape also highlighted the way that we listen to and incorporate customer feedback.

"Customers mentioned that Oracle takes customer feedback into account when enhancing its product," said Chandana Gopal, Research Director for IDC Business Analytics Solutions, in the report.

I am humbled and proud of the work our team has done serving thousands of customers around the world. Customers play a key role in the development of our applications and push us to think about enterprise performance management from their perspective, which drives us to deliver timely and valuable innovations in each update that deliver real business value.

I consider this IDC MarketScape report to be a reflection of the strong partnerships we enjoy with our customers-whose fingerprints are all over our product. I want to thank our customers for partnering with us, providing regular feedback and new feature ideas, and for trusting us with their business.

Here's to our continued shared success in 2021!

-Hari
