Orange's commitment to the circular economy is already reflected in the way we eco-design our products and collect and recycle mobile devices, among other initiatives. In 2020, the "RE" program was launched in France to promote the trade-in, recycling, and reconditioning of mobile devices as part of a circular economy approach that has already succeeded in collecting 15 million mobile phones.

Since May 2021, we have also applied this ambition to our network infrastructure through our OSCAR program, which includes the Marketis platform for buying and selling reconditioned equipment. The Group is using this internal marketplace to limit the manufacturing impacts of new equipment and instead promote the reuse of reconditioned equipment, offering cost savings and significant reductions in CO2 emissions.

Finally, Orange is working to accelerate the migration of customers to fiber when it is available, while 24.2 million homes were already eligible for FTTH offers at the end of 2020.
