Item 7.01 - Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 17, 2021, OraSure Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") entered into an agreement with the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority ("BARDA"), which is part of the office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS"), pursuant to which BARDA will provide up to $13.6 million in funding for the Company to obtain 510(k) clearance and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ("CLIA") waiver of the Company's InteliSwab™ COVID-19 rapid test from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA"). On September 23, 2021, the Company issued a press release announcing this agreement, a copy of which is attached to this Current Report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
