Organización Cultiba, S.A.B. de C.V. announced unaudited preliminary consolidated earnings and operating results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of MXN 6,149 million against MXN 5,979 million a year ago. Income from operations was MXN 440 million against MXN 137 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 135 million against MXN 136 million a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported total revenue of MXN 11,141 million against MXN 11,076 million a year ago. Income from operations was MXN 636 million against MXN 439 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 261 million against MXN 172 million a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported total case volume of 455.4 MM unit cases against 451.1 MM unit cases a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported total case volume of 836.4 MM unit cases against 834.5 MM unit cases a year ago.
Organizacion Cultiba SAB de CV (Cultiba) is a Mexico-based holding company principally engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the beverages industry. The Company has license from Pepsi-Co Inc to produce, distribute and sell mainly the Pepsi Cola, Manzanita Sol, Mirinda, Kas, Gatorade, Lipton, Be Light, Mountain Dew and Seven Up soft drink trademarks. The Company also produces and distributes bottled water under the Trisoda, Santorini and Junghanns brands, among others.
