Otis Worldwide : Germany to Service More Than 130 Elevators in Hospital Portfolio

EKK plus trusts Otis Germany with elevators at 3 municipal hospitals

Otis is committed to keeping critical infrastructure such as healthcare facilities up and running during the global pandemic, so doctors, nurses, staff, patients and visitors move safely and efficiently.

For the past three years, Otis Germany has serviced the elevators at hospitals in Ludwigshafen and Wolfsburg. When it came time to renew the service contracts, EKK plus, a procurement vendor for municipal hospitals, also was soliciting bids to service the elevator systems at a third hospital, in Ravensburg.

With a strong existing relationship and expertise in the demands of elevators in healthcare settings, Otis Germany submitted a combined proposal and won the contract to service elevators at all three hospitals - more than 130 units in all - through the end of 2023.
