On September 28, 2021, Ovintiv Inc. issued a news release announcing that it has received acceptance from the Toronto Stock Exchange for a normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 26,048,261 common shares during the 12-month period commencing October 1, 2021. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
