PCBL Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 16,567.6 million compared to INR 13,633.3 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 16,639.3 million compared to INR 13,718.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,478.7 million compared to INR 970.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.92 compared to INR 2.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.92 compared to INR 2.57 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 44,909.9 million compared to INR 44,002.5 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 45,048.2 million compared to INR 44,242.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,796.8 million compared to INR 3,396.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.06 compared to INR 9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.06 compared to INR 9 a year ago.
PCBL Limited is an India-based carbon black manufacturer. The Company operates in the materials and specialty chemicals segment with a production capacity of approximately 7,70,000 metric tons per annum and generating 110 megawatts per hour of green power. It has a presence in over 50 countries. Its products include specialty chemicals, Tires and Performance Chemicals, Product Stewardship, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Specialty Chemicals are primarily used as a pigment in plastics, inks, coatings, and many other applications. This is also used for high technology applications such as fiber, rechargeable batteries, and premium automotive coatings. Its specialty chemicals-related product segments include fiber, food contact, pressure pipes, multi layered films, drip irrigation, inks and coatings, general pipes, films and moldings, and engineering plastics. The Companyâs plants are located at Durgapur (West Bengal), Palej (Gujarat), Mundra (Gujarat), and Kochi (Kerala).
