Pioneer Bancorp, Inc. has hired Thomas Signor as executive vice president and chief administration officer. Signor replaces Frank Sarratori, who resigned in June [1] from his roles as executive vice president, chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary of Pioneer Bank. He had worked at the bank for 18 years.

In Signor's role at Pioneer, he will oversee bank operations, including deposit and retail loan operations, compliance, risk, information technology, security, and facilities management. He spent 16 years at Kinderhook Bank, where he started as an internal auditor and later was executive vice president and chief operating officer. At Kinderhook, he managed operations, retail loan servicing, IT, compliance, electronic banking and facilities.

He oversaw construction of five new bank branches, and he led the integration process for the bank's acquisition of Patriot Federal Bank. Signor, a licensed CPA, was previously a shareholder at Pattison, Koskey, Rath & Florio PC in Valatie. Previous jobs included chief compliance officer for Paradigm Capital Management and most recently chief risk officer for National Bank of Coxsackie.

Signor graduated from Siena College with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He lives with his family in Clifton Park.
