Pioneer High Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a closed-end management investment company. The investment objective of the Fund is to provide a high level of current income and the Fund may, as a secondary objective, also seek capital appreciation to the extent that it is consistent with its investment objective. The Fund invest in insurance-linked securities. The Fund may invest up to 50% of its total assets in illiquid securities. The Fund invests in various sectors, including auto parts and equipment, metal processors and fabrication, oil-field services, telecom services, chemicals, oil, gas and consumable fuels, passenger airlines, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, advertising, and biotechnology.
