Consolidated revenues in strong growth to 287M€ , the strengthening of the global leadership, international awards for products and solutions dedicated to the recycling chain and the circular economy, ensure that 2021 will remain a memorable milestone in the history of the Piovan Group.

Piovan Group closes 2021 very well, as revealed by the financial statements approved by the Board of Directors on 23 March. These are some of the figures of the world leader in industrial automation for the transport and processing of polymers, recycled plastics and food powders. Consolidated revenues of € 287 million, up 27.5% compared to 2020; consolidated EBITDA of € 41.2 million (14.3% of revenues), up 27.6% compared to 2020; consolidated operating profit (EBIT) of € 33.6 million (11.7% of revenues), up 29.2% compared to 2020 (the price sensitive press release can be found at this link: https://bit.ly/3DzqssN).

In 2021 Piovan Group obtained the ESG Risk Rating from Sustainalytics (*) which took into consideration aspects relating to: human rights, health and safety at work, carbon dioxide emissions, business ethics, human capital, environmental and social impact of products and services, and from the same issuing body it obtained the badge Industry Top Rated 2022. Thanks to its innovative products, the company was selected as a finalist in the Machinery category of the prestigious Sustainability Awards 2021 in the field of sustainable packaging.

The recent acquisition of the American IPEG Group will give the group a worldwide dimension of approximately 465 M€ (pro-forma consolidated turnover in 2021), 1,800 employees, 14 production plants and 40 locations worldwide. The acquisition will also facilitate the diffusion in the US market of innovative technologies for the conversion to the circular economy in the production of quality products with recycled plastics.
