Okko SmartBox set-top box users can migrate to SberBox software free of charge to watch TV and feature films, use the Salute virtual assistants, listen to music, play games, and order food. Also, they will have access to a catalogue of apps, from games to cooking smart apps, to meet their every need.

The device can be controlled with a remote, its virtual equivalent in the Sber Salute application, or with voice. The browser that will become available to those who migrate to SberBox software can be easily navigated via a virtual mouse available in the Sber Salute app or the Bluetooth remote that comes with the device.

After migrating to SberBox software, you can use Sber, Athena, and Joy - the Salute virtual assistants integrated in it - that will come in handy when you need to order groceries or learn the answer to a question. Also, they can make a doctor's appointment, book a salon appointment, or even make a reservation at a restaurant1.

SberBox has a built-in browser, radio, and SberPlay, a streaming service allowing users to launch popular titles on TV without having to buy an expensive video game console or a high-performance PC. On top of that, SberBox has the full catalogue of Samokat, a quick grocery delivery service, and allows you to manage the Sber smart home.

Migration to SberBox software is currently optional, but no updates for Okko SmartBox with new services will be released down the road. Users don't have to install the SberBox software right away and can choose the time they will migrate to the extended functionality separately.

Users can pick the character they feel suits them better. In addition to holding a conversation and answering questions, the assistants can also order food, make a doctor's appointment, book a salon appointment, transfer money, or top up your mobile phone. They are available on iOS and Android in the SberBank Online and SberSalute mobile apps, on a number of Sber smart devices, and more.
