Primorye Territory's first multimedia pedestrian fountain created with support from Sber was inaugurated on the central square of Vladivostok on September 2.

Fitted with a video projector and lasers for water surface projections, it is also capable of playing back sound and visual programs while also being a full-fledged mixed-format education venue.

The ceremony welcomed the following dignitaries: First Deputy Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board Alexander Vedyakhin, Deputy Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board Stanislav Kuznetsov, First Vice Governor and Prime Minister of Primorye Vera Shcherbina, Vladivostok Mayor Konstantin Shestakov, and officials from the Primorye government and Vladivostok administration.

I am sure that our light and music fountain will be fast to become one of the city's most memorable landmarks. It's unique in that it is not just a hydraulic structure, but also an educational project. Combining beauty and innovation, the fountain will let the residents and guests of the city experience intense emotions and gain new knowledge.

The round-shaped fountain complex is 24 meters in diameter and has 185 dynamic jets with heights ranging from 1 to 15 meters. The jets create various water effects: turning arches, fogs, moving walks, pirouettes, 'swans' and 'ballerinas'. LED dynamic lighting colors the resulting images in millions of shades. In the center of the fountain there is a water screen measuring 6 by 16 meters, onto which a laser and video shows are projected (see the photo of the fountain here).
