SberCIB has signed an agreement to offer a line of credit capped at RUB26.5 bn to Etalon Group, one of Russia's largest development corporations. The funds are set to be injected into the construction of the ZIL-Yug project in Moscow.

Etalon Group is Sber's long-term strategic partner. Our business relations started as many as 20 years ago. Over the years, we have run many interesting projects together. ZIL-Yug is the company's flagship project in Moscow. Its design enjoyed cutting-edge approaches, which should result in the construction of a balanced place where megacity residents can live comfortably. We're happy to finance the project that will allow thousands of families to own quality residential property. SberCIB extended a RUB26.5 bn line of credit for Etalon until the end of 2024. The funds will be injected into phase one of the ZIL-Yug construction project and will also be used to refinance some of the project-related costs already incurred.

Andrey Shemetov

Senior Vice President, Head of SberCIB

Scheduled for completion in 2023, construction phase one will have several stages. The first two have building permits and will cover six buildings with an underground parking lot for 335 cars. According to plan, the floor area of the residential real estate will be 44,900 square meters, while that of the commercial real estate is scheduled to reach 4,500 square meters.

Etalon Group and Sber have been strategic partners for decades. The current LOC, too, will be a starting point for an active implementation of our flagship project in the capital. While structuring the project finance being attracted, Etalon Group and the bank have used all know-how and best practices they have developed over the years of their fruitful partnership. The innovative solutions being applied to land plot planning - including multiple development typologies, a focus on high-quality and mixed-use public spaces, along with the concept of a 15-minute city - will enable us to create a unique project.

Ilya Kosolapov,

Vice President for Economy and Finance, Etalon Group

The mixed-use housing estate is being constructed in Moscow's Danilovsky district, in the southern part of the former ZIL plant premises. Etalon Group and Citymakers are also working on the social, cultural, and functional layouts for the upcoming neighborhood. KCAP, a Dutch design firm, is the author of the master plan of the land plot, while the first phase of the estate has been designed by the Moscow-based architectural firm Buromoscow. Its project has been sanctioned by Moscow's Architectural Council.
