Three buildings at Sber's 32 Kutuzovsky Prospekt complex (Moscow-City) have received BREEAM certificates. BREEAM, developed by BRE Global, is one of two leading global voluntary sustainability assessment rankings for buildings. Over 500,000 sites worldwide currently have BREEAM certificates, with only 177 located in Russia.

These are not the first Sber facilities to be BREEAM certified. Sber's Tsvetnoy Boulevard and Oruzheiny Pereulok branches in Moscow and its office at 3 Constitution Square in St. Petersburg are rated as Good. The 32 Kutuzovsky Prospekt buildings received a Very Good rating, with four stars out of six. The certificate's period of validity is three years.

The In-Use scheme was used for the ranking, with assessments according to nine categories: Management, Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Transport, Water, Materials, Waste, Land Use and Ecology, and Pollution.

The certification body noted the best practices implemented in the project: automated light sensors, DALI LED drivers, climate control with temperature gauges, and CO2 sensors that regulate the supplementary air supply, contributing to the well-being of Sber's employees. Air humidity is also monitored, alongside energy use.

There are recreational areas for employees and visitors on several floors, featuring car-shaped armchairs, sleep pods, and comfortable seating. Elements of nature are incorporated into the décor: hanging gardens, green walls, and a waterfall. The complex has a gym, and each floor features workout equipment. The appropriate security measures are in place: 24-hour monitoring, face ID entry, and emergency response plans.

This environmental certificate has boosted Sber's ESG reputation as we implement our 2030 development strategy. The construction that the bank is undertaking at 32 Kutuzovsky Prospekt, Moscow, is one of our contributions to the green economy and the creation of a qualitatively new urban infrastructure. We are not just providing employees with an excellent work environment - we are also setting an example for our business partners and counterparties with our responsible approach to the environment.
