WARSAW, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Poland's biggest lender PKO BP has blocked payments in all currencies to and from 11 more Russian and Belarusian banks following a similar move on Friday against JSC VTB Bank, the bank said in a statement on Monday.

The step was taken due to sanctions imposed on Moscow as it continues its assault against Ukraine.

"We will also not process transfers in (roubles) to other banks, and we will not process incoming transfers in this currency," the bank said. (Reporting by Anna Koper and Pawel Florkiewicz; Editing by Jan Harvey)
